Connect Group successful fulfil Ernst & Young's Retained Smart Energy search.

We worked closely with E&Y’s Partner responsible for advising on Customer and Market Strategy and Transformation to create a detailed needs analysis prior to commencement of the search.

The successful candidate will take up the position of Smart - IT Advisory Senior Manager / Director in June 2010 and will be responsible for delivering the technology challenges associated with Smart Metering and will be managing a portfolio of clients and assignments as well as developing existing clients and identifying new opportunities.

Implementation of GRIP database

Connect Group Consulting has selected and implemented GRIP software from 2LS to manage its entire recruitment workflow.

The GRIP database has been implemented throughout the business to further automate client, candidate and vacancy processes.

GRIP integrates with Microsoft Outlook and Office and as such has increased the productivity of both the Consultants and Back Office Staff, enabling them to find and match CV’s more accurately, submit candidate’s seamlessly to clients through to closing placements and management of terms and conditions and maintenance of documentation.

Connect Group Consulting has established a Trainee Academy enabling us to "grow our own future leaders".

The Trainee Programme is an ongoing investment that will see the number of employees grow significantly over the next few years. The Academy ensures that our employees have a structured approach to their development and that they are trained in every aspect of the job that is relevant to them at various points throughout their career.

To gain a place on the Trainee Academy candidates undergo intensive interviewing and attend Assessment Centres where they are required to undertake various exercises and tests.
