My client is looking for a Lead Estimating Engineer for a permanent role based in Dubai.

Position Summary: This position has primary responsibility for coordinating estimating activities, ensuring the Company has timely, accurate cost information on which to base its bids for prospective projects. This includes compiling and analyzing current data on equipment, labor, supplies, and related factors/conditions and applying that information through the group of estimators.

Preferred Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree plus eight years experience in estimating
• Or High school degree plus twelve years of directly related experience in a similar, heavy manufacturing setting where technical and supervisory experience and competence has been clearly demonstrated
• Experience using AspenTech estimating software or similar software
• Ability to manage a group of up to 10 Estimators
• Experience with gas compression and processing equipment desirable.
• Experienced in developing logical sequencing of work.
• Basic construction knowledge and installation process required.
• Full fluency in English is required.
• MS Office (Excel and Word) and product competency required.
• Primavera P6 and MS Project knowledge desirable.
• Second language desired.
