Job Description:  

RESPONSIBILITIES
operations

Maintaining control over the preventive maintenance system (PMS) and probe database associated with computing.

Coordinate maintenance activities with the regular Board Superintendent and other department heads.

Planning service and maintenance of equipment in accordance with the guidelines PMS.

Ensure that reports for repair and maintenance of equipment are complete and accurate.

Perform inspections of classification as part of ongoing inspections of machinery.

Communicate with the shipping department with regard to loading, ordering and use of fuel, drinking water and drilling as a function of probe stability.


Ensure that the work permit and isolation systems are being closely followed in the maintenance department.

Inform the Superintendent of Maple and other department heads of any technical problems or limitations that may affect the safe operation of the probe.

Keep an adequate supply of spare parts in order to meet the maintenance requirements and facilitate a safe and efficient operation.

Provide information to the budget for maintenance and repairs.

Maintain proper communication as a support group for onshore field, with the management of spacecraft and equipment vendors.

Communicate with the Superintendent on board to ensure that all equipment is suitable for the purpose contracted, certified, correctly installed and maintained while the probe.

Implement the monitoring requirements of the audit, as issued by customers, auditors or management regulatory probe.

Approve all purchase orders, requisition from the maintenance department.

Probe provides management with statistics of vessel maintenance.
Inform on ways to improve the performance of the inventory held in the probe.

Document any and all changes to the PMS system and gives reasons for implementing these changes to the management of the probe through the direct supervisor.

Provide information inputs to the inspection of the ship and ways to reduce the downtime of the vessel.

Exercise fiscal responsibility with respect to the maintenance budget.

Train staff in use of the PMS system to reduce errors in the system.

Report problems of equipment downtime or information via the direct supervisor for the field support group.

Advise, develop and train employees so that they are able to occupy positions above them.

Ensure proper and relevant communication with all staff.

To ensure compatibility with minimum operating standards in accordance with regulations and international maritime regulations of the Country Flag

Maintain discipline onboard and ensure compliance with the disciplinary regulations of the company.

Assist in developing annual performance evaluation for staff in your area. Recommend promotion, disciplinary action or even suggest off.

QHSE

Demonstrate commitment to the security policies through leadership and guidance.

Ensure regulatory requirements for environmental protection are met.

Actively participate in weekly safety meetings and pre-job meetings as required.

Report any incidents, no potential danger or abnormal situations to the other department heads.

Prepare analysis of workplace safety and hazardous situations.

Ensure a high standard of hygiene and housekeeping is maintained onboard the spacecraft.

Assistant Superintendent of the board to review and update the current security situation in consultation with management and the office of the probe base.

Participate in pollution prevention training requirements as designated by the Superintendent on board.

EDUCATION
Technical school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years experience in the area.

SKILL
Adaptation to work aboard, verbal and written communication, negotiation and leadership.

Desirable:

Prioritize candidates who have already operated Deepwater Drill Ships and Rigs.
Knowledge of Dynamic Positioning System
Candidates who have worked in Brazil, preferably for Petrobras
Candidates who speak and / or understand Portuguese
