Ensure that all stuff have the experience and practices necessary to comply with the tasks assigned to them in an efficient and safe.

Maintaining control over the system of preventive maintenance of the probe data associated computing.

Planning service and maintenance of equipment according to the guidelines system of preventive maintenance.

Ensure that reports to the repair and maintenance of equipment are accurate and complete.

Provide inspections of classification as part of continuing inspection of machinery.

Liaison with the Maritime Bureau in relation to load, use of fuel, drinking water and drilling stability

the probe.

Ensure that the work permit is strictly followed the maintenance department.

Coordinate maintenance activities with IOM and other department heads.

Inform the other heads of departments of any technical problems or limitations that may affect the safe operation of the probe.

Keep an adequate supply of spare parts in order to meet the maintenance requirements and facilitate a safe and efficient operation.

Assist in supplying information to the budget for maintenance and repairs.

Maintain proper communication with the Field Support Group based at the seaside and with the administration of the probe.

Communicate to the top imdiato to ensure that all third-party equipment is mounted for the purpose, certified, correctly installed and maintained while the probe.

Implement the requirements of the audit, as issued by
Customers. Regulatory Authorities or by the administration of the probe

Approve all purchase orders, requisition from the maintenance department.

Addressing the administration of the probe with statistics of vessel maintenance.

Inform on ways of carrying out improvements to the inventory maintained in the probe.

Document any and all changes to the preventive maintenance system and gives reasons for implementing these changes to the Manager of the probe through the IOM.

Provide inputs for the inspection of the vessel and means to reduce the output of the service hours of the ship

Exercise fiscal responsibility with respect to the maintenance budget.

Train staff in use of preventive maintenance system to reduce errors in the system.
Report problems of equipment downtime or information via the direct Supervisor for the Field Support Group.


Assist in developing annual performance evaluation for staff in your area. Recommend promotion, disciplinary action or even suggest off

Supervise and guide the crew in the program on training in their work.

To promote a social atmosphere and work compatible and stable within a multicultural environment.

Maintain discipline onboard and ensure compliance with the disciplinary procedures.

EDUCATION
University degree or equivalent of the Navy.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3 years experience in the area
SKILL
Adaptation to work aboard.

Desirable:Prioritize candidates who have already operated Deepwater Drill Ships and Rigs.
Knowledge of Dynamic Positioning System
Candidates who have worked in Brazil, preferably for Petrobras
Candidates who speak and / or understand Portuguese
