Ensure that the meeting pre-work is provided for all drilling operations off the routine.

Ensure that the Driller is informed about the program well and communicate any changes in plans.

Monitor the maintenance, repair and installation of all equipment including drilling records of repair, maintenance and lubrication and the position of inventory.

Keep records of inspections and certification of equipment, tools and tubes.

Ensure that the mixture of mud systems and solids control equipment are constantly being monitored and properly maintained.

Prepare purchase requisition orders for equipment or parts needed to keep the drilling operation free of delays.

Assist in confirmation to maintain the stock of parts and materials sufficient.

Assist in planning, organizing, supervision of operations of spacecraft motion.

Maintain proper communication with the other probe and the superintendent in charge of the board regarding the progress of drilling and associated operations.

Recommend adjusting the drilling parameters as necessary in order to improve the performance of their drilling operation in general.

Promote and maintain effective working relationship with other departments, contractors and the representatives of the client.

QHSE

Ensure that subordinates understand and apply the guidelines of the specific SGI


Inform the Superintendent Platform incidents, potential hazards or abnormal situations.

Actively participate in weekly safety meetings and all other management systems
Ensure a high standard of hygiene and organization is maintained onboard the spacecraft.

Advise, develop and train stuff so that they are able to occupy positions above them.

Provide leadership and motivation to the crew of the probe.

Assist in developing annual performance evaluation for staff in your area. Recommend promotion, disciplinary action or even suggest off.

Assist in training to ensure that all staff are competent to perform the work assigned them.

Make recommendations for promotions.

EDUCATION
Technical school diploma or equivalent


Experience Minimum 7 years experience
area

SKILL

Adaptation to work aboard, verbal and written communication, negotiation and leadership.

Desirable: Prioritize candidates who have already operated Deepwater Drill Ships and Rigs.
Knowledge of Dynamic Positioning System
Candidates who have worked in Brazil, preferably for Petrobras
Candidates who speak and / or understand Portuguese
