RESPONSIBILITIES
operations

Operate all equipment at the Driller's console in a safe condition and free from danger, clean and organized on the floor of the probe and adjacent areas.

Monitor the condition of the well in all situations, i.e. depth, mud weight, weight on drill, drill string composition, deviations and so controlled.

Correctly interpret the conditions of stability of the well during drilling operations.

Perform operations related to drilling, such as directional drilling, work with risers and BOP, the columns of cement coating, fishing, well testing and other special operations.

Supervise and direct the operations in the settlement or withdrawal of equipment associated with drilling and tubular.

Keep track of the exact dimensions of the tool and tubular (i.e., the diameter of internal and external diameters of fishing tools and serial numbers).

Ensure that the solids control equipment and mud mixing operations are constantly being monitored.

Inform the Clerk of the probe, and the Customer Representative if there is a deviation from the planned operations.

Keep accurate records of the displacement of the fluid when the tube being removed from the well.

Complete the IADC drilling report daily at the end of each work shift.
Keep working with meeting pre-drilling crews.

Control the well during a well control situation or emergency. Assist in cushioning the well operations.

Supervise the lubrication and maintenance of all drilling equipment and accessories, ensure they are maintained in accordance with the Preventive Maintenance System.

Keeping records of equipment, and daily drilling records - to perform all calculations necessary to perform the technical

drilling.

Auxiliary operations during the lowering and removal of all risers, BOP and LMRP.

Assist in planning, organizing and overseeing the operations of equipment handling the probe.

QHSE

Ensure that subordinates understand and apply guidelines and procedures QHSE-specific probe.

Inform the Clerk of the probe of any incidents, potential hazards or abnormal situations.

Actively participate in weekly safety meetings, the Quality Improvement Program and all other security management systems.

Ensure a high standard of hygiene and organization are kept on board the spacecraft.

Actively participate in the training of abandonment and Firefighting.

Prepare the Work Safety Analysis as required for dangerous situations and changes in normal drilling conditions.


administrative

Advise, develop and train employees so that they are able to occupy positions above them.

Provide leadership and motivation to drilling crews.

Advise the Assistant Driller and allow the console to operate the sounder, when the safety of operations so permit and safety of personnel is not at risk.

Assist in training to ensure all stuff are competent to perform the work assigned them.

EDUCATION
Technical level training or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years experience in the area.

SKILL
Adaptation to work aboard, verbal / written, negotiation and leadership.

Preferable :Prioritize candidates who have already operated Deepwater Drill Ships and Rigs.
Knowledge of Dynamic Positioning System
Candidates who have worked in Brazil, preferably for Petrobras
Candidates who speak and / or understand Portuguese
