Our Client is looking for a Maintenance Superintendent (Mechanical). Need to have a strong practical Knowledge of combustion engines 2X.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of the service work pack and the further work report including planning and resources together with service coordinator.

• Training and lead of the engineers on site and prepare the progress report of them.

• Supervise and assist with the commissioning, construction, mounting, installing, repairing and overhauling of equipment/components on board of all type of vessels.

• Supervision and planning of work to be done in cooperation with the customer

• Perform equipment inspection in order to advise the account manager about possible maintenance, repairs or retrofits opportunities on inspected equipment.

• Participate on the improvement of the new products when performing warranty activities

• Provide internal and external work reports according to the clients standards.

• Supervision and/or execution of equipments overhauling

• Daily management personnel and/or subcontractors onsite

Requirements

Wide knowledge and 10 years experience in low and medium speed diesel engines in 2 strokes engines is widely considered

* Wide knowledge in low and medium speed diesel engines is also widely considered

* BSc in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent education (Technical schools, preferably mechanical)

* Openness and flexibility in liaise with customers in order to improve the relationship and teamwork

* Leadership

* Readiness to travel

* Good communication in English and good skills in documentation, communication, and self management

Technical analysis:
* Knowledge of Mechanical equipment

* Knowledge of Hydraulic equipment

* Knowledge of control systems

* Knowledge of pneumatic systems

* Ability to analyze and solve technical problems.

* Ability to carry out relevant measurements
