Senior Bid Manager urgently required for pivotal role within a blue chip utility focused service provider with offices across the UK. You can be based from home or from a local office depending on your preference.

The bids you will be working on for this role are Smart Metering solutions for large scale Industrial and Commercial (I&C) clients.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Bid Manager who will be well versed in managing whole bid processes from initial invitation to tender. Ideally you will come from a utilities background but if you don't you could have worked for a variety of different types of organisation such as Construction, Power, Energy, Highways, Teleco.

In this role you will project manage bids and be expected to meet and lead clients through the bid process. A Technical Project Manager will partner up with you so support this process.

In summary:
1. To provide a first class Bid Management function to the UK and International businesses.
2. Line Management (2 staff), Bid Management (£1m to £50m), Sales Reporting (£120m t/o).
3. To lead UK and International bids including proposition definition, bid team management, pricing, bid production and overall approval governance. Production of the most compelling bid at the optimum price.
