POSITION PURPOSE: Effective management of Oilfield Engineering activities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Management of key relationships between the Group and its markets, customers, suppliers and employees.
• Develop and execute a marketing strategy to ensure the growth of Oilfield Engineering revenue and profit in accordance with the Company’s strategy.
• Liaise with the commercial group with reference to Oilfield Engineering proposals and participate in the estimating process and pricing discussions.
• Develop technical solutions for potential and awarded Oilfield Engineering projects.
• Develop and manage projects executed within the API certified workshop.
• Ensure the effective and timely handover of information to facility management teams upon contract award.
• Maintain an overview of projects to ensure completion in accordance and in compliance with the Company’s contractual obligations.
• Establish and manage relationships with key customers and act as interface between customers and facility management.
• In conjunction with the Group Quality Manager develop and manage API accredited services.
• Contribute to the professional development of employees with particular emphasis on direct reports.
• Development of succession plans for department managers and key personnel.
• Liaise with facility EVP/VP/GM with reference to the development of Company facilities to support Oilfield Engineering growth.
• Develop and manage standard operating procedures for the Group Management System
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) responsibilities.
