Pre-requisite skills & training:
1. Project Management Experience
2. PMP Certified preferred

1. Knowledge of electricity concepts, knowledge of electrical formulae, familiar working with 3phase electrical systems up to a minimum of 11KV distribution systems
2. Experience of working inside substation environment and/or industrial environment involving electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgears/circuit breakers, MCCs, Power Distribution panels, Lighting & Small power systems, SCADA hardware, Building management systems, Fire detection systems, Power and control cables, IT, communication, Fiber optic cables
3. Training in Project management topics such as Planning, Cost, Contracts, Schedules, Risk, Procurement, HSE, QA-QC, Communication
4. Assign work consistently with objectives and able to draw KPI’s
5. Manage/lead project team to ensure project success and team spirit
6. Able to ensure quality/continuous performance by consistent application of procedures/plans
7. Able to monitor/analyze/report team and project performance
8. Able to manage/Review change requests, prepare quotes/implement changes, with support from technical and other staff as required
9. Able to resolve disputes over claims, cost over runs, delays, warranties, etc.
10. Able to review/coordinate information flow internally, to/from vendors and to/from customers
11. Evaluate opportunities and problems submitted by the Project Engineers
12. Decide on/implement actions to fully explore all possibilities and eliminate/minimize problems
13. Ensure that schedules are met
14. Coordinate with Planning/HSE/QA-QC/Finance/Accounts/Field teams to document and report project progress
15. Conduct meetings to exchange information on assigned projects/resolve problems
16. Manage/Document employee performance, make recommendations to line management
17. Take part in progress review meetings, take notes to prepare Minutes of Meetings, action plans and assist Project Manager to prepare and submit detailed progress reports

Project Management, Site Management Tendering, Technical Support
Bachelors or higher in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering

Solid working experience in LV/MV/HV electrical projects with SCADA/SCMS/DMS involvement of which a substantial perriod of time should have been spent in a Project Manager position.
