My client are looking for a Package Engineer for a Windfarm project in Norway. The position is Contract, Oil and Gas experience accepted.

· Technical coordination of larger procurement packages within subsea connection and intervention system

· Prepare RFQ/PO scope of work

· Review and follow up of the engineering plan

· Prepare RFQ/PO package plan

· Participating in preparation and maintaining of the procurement plan

· Bid evaluation

· Review vendor documentation – coordinate comments from Company and disciplines

· Technical follow up of supplier. Review of weekly and monthly reports – technical and schedule related issues. Identify and highlight critical issues and delivery priorities

· Input weekly /monthly reports to Company

· Technical query and none conformance co-ordination within package

· Responsible for the co-ordination of the work within package relative to document reviews, design reviews, COMPANY queries & for responding to technical issues.

· Participate in Kick-off meetings and PPM’s and technical follow up meetings with suppliers and inspection activities

· Expediting of supplier technical issues.

· Follow up testing, Mechanical Completion and delivery

· Follow up definition and delivery of final documentation.

Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Mechanical

Experience within subsea connection and intervention engineering
