Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Vacancies at Senior Engineer and Principal Engineer levels:

General skills/experience as below, increasing in depth and breadth the more senior the level.

Duties: Use technical writing skills and experience to support the delivery of project related documents i.e. specifications, data sheets, bid tabulations, material requisitions.

Carry out the design and specification of pressure vessels in accordance with PD5500, ASME VIII Div 1 and 2, PED and TEMA. Must be familiar with vessel design programs such as PVElite, Finglow and Ansys

Person Specification

Degree qualified
Pressure vessel experience - application of Codes and calculations using proprietary design programs.
Experience of thermal design or analytical calculations.
Understanding of Engineering Contractor working environment and ability to interface with clients, suppliers and other discipline engineers
Ability to carry out Lead Engineer role.

Specific experience in the following technical areas would be beneficial:

Process packages
LNG projects
Cryogenic equipment – columns, cold boxes
Nuclear waste processing
