"· Lead development and implementation of new designs and design improvements for assigned scope of electrical system and components within the 1.5MW and 2.5MW wind turbines.
· Coordinate and implement design and deliverables (concepts, specifications, engineering analysis, drawings, schematics, design layouts, BOM, validation, and documentation), based on Product Specification and customer CTQs.
· Work closely with other engineering groups within GE to coordinate interfaces between systems and components.
· Work with product support teams to determine root cause of component or system failures and implement corrective actions to meet product reliability goals for customers.
· Communicate with external consultants and third parties to achieve certification of designs (Germanischer Lloyd, DNV, TUEV, UL, CSA, etc.).
· Leverage and implement Design Practices, DFR and DFSS.
· Provide technical clarification of designs with suppliers, manufacturing and service during prototype phase."
